CNUF® MEMBERSHIP

Advantages

Joining the CNUF® trademark means joining a group of producers socially committed to the protection of the planet and committed to meeting the quality standards that the trademark requires of its members.

The AIMMP, Licensing Authority, has the right and duty to receive, assess and issue an opinion on applications from manufacturers of funerary urns wishing to join the CNUF®.

Application Process

The application to join the CNUF® trademark, should be made by filling out the form here.

In Portugal, the processing of this process will be done directly by the AIMMP.

In other countries, this process will be carried out by the respective Sector Association or alternatively by ETIC – European Timber Industries Confederation. After manifestation of interest by the applicant through completion of the respective forms indicating, among other information, the Sector Association to which he/she belongs.

Once the admissibility of the application is verified, and if so, the responsible organism (AIMMP or Sector Association/ETIC) notifies the interested producer that a technical audit will take place at the production site. This audit is scheduled with the agreement of the member company and upon payment of the audit service.

After this audit, and if the membership conditions are confirmed, the member company is notified of the result of the audit and the consequent decision to grant the CNUF® certification, after which it may use the brand and acquire the Official Seals from the AIMMP to affix to the funerary urns.

The CNUF® license is renewed annually.
