Expo Funerária 2019 – Funeral sector gathered in three days of exhibition, debate and business

Between 12 and 14 April, the funeral sector brought together, in Batalha, more than 60 companies and 3250 professionals for three days of exhibition, in an environment marked by debate and business development.

With the main national and international players and the presence of the greatest specialists of the sector, EXPO FUNERÁRIA opened the doors to an edition of high quality and relevance, sustained by the strong affluence of professionals dedicated to the funerary activity.

In a dynamic environment, prone to the development of commercial synergies, the main suppliers of the funeral sector and a wide range of products related to the funeral activity were on display, such as coffins, urns, ecological and certified – CNUF, textiles, accessories, funerary vehicles, crematory ovens, products for thanatopraxis, refrigeration and autopsy equipment, services and technologies to support the activity, among others.

This edition of EXPO FUNERÁRIA also stood out for the excellence of the seminars promoted by Conceito Lutuoso, official partner of the fair.

The cremation and the Portuguese funeral sector were in focus in a discussion led by several companies and associations of the sector, including the AIMMP and the renowned international consultant, Dario Loinaz. One of the most respected specialists in the country, Professor J. Pinto da Costa, was responsible for closing with a golden key the program of seminars, with a provocative intervention that addressed sensitive issues such as euthanasia and assisted suicide.

This event was attended by exhibitors from companies associated with the AIMMP, of funeral vehicles and sacred art and funerary urns, especially companies that manufacture ecological and certified urns – URNA CNUF.

The future of EXPO FUNERÁRIA should be an aggregator event, capable of promoting the activity, the companies and their professionals, and above all, to present the ecological and certified products of Portugal, allied to the participation of foreign exhibito
